The Order of the Stick is basically a web comic that has been written by Rich Burlew. He had been working on this comic for more than a decade. It was published in a print form in 2005 but it appeared to be very costly considering the print money. Hence, Burlew drew towards Kickstarter and raised over $1.2 million in the form of pledges. It is certainly one of the only comic books in the history of Kickstarter that have raised such a big amount.

The game designer Chris Roberts who has already worked for Wing Commander surfaced his dream project over Kickstarter in 2013 and raised as much as $2.1 million from 34,397 supporters. It did not stop here, the idea has raised $15 million until now. With more money being installed in, the chances of the game being great increase as well. The only question that lingers around is about the release date of the game.

Pucs was a very simple idea by David and Calvin Laituri’s company, Onehundred. Pucs is basically a solid stainless steel piece that is rechargeable. This can keep your drink cold without watering it down. The initial goal of the company was to raise $2,500 in crowd sourcing but it claimed 3000% of the expected raise amount. This is certainly one of the most successful stories of Kickstarter.
